LEADING AIR NEWS

The old unit was still working but on it's last legs. The bottom of the outdoor unit was completely rusted out and upon removal it completely fell apart. The client opted for a new 12.5kw Daikin reverse cycle ducted system. The roof space was tight which meant the new indoor unit had to be relocated. On completion the difference was drastic in efficieny and sound level. The old unit could be heard running from the neighbours house whereas the replacement Daikin was so quiet that you barely knew it was running. Easy to operate, 5 years warranty and the client was over the moon!

As summer begins to leave us and winter is slowly approaching, the owners at this residence wanted a split put into the bedroom mainly for heating. They can handle the heat fine but the cold they don't want to know about hence the new 2.5kw Mitsubishi Electric split system. All reverse cycle air conditioners are more efficient on heating than they are on cooling and this one was put up on a wall bracket to make space below. Mitsubishi also have a promotion running for a short period where you can claim anywhere up to $400 back. This makes it great value!

Here we had an older house with a Brivis evaporative air conditioner which was pushing 20 years old. The motor had seized which in turn had taken out the control board. Due to the age of the Brivis there was no point in trying to repair as it would be too costly. Swapping it out with a new Coolair CPQ850 which comes with a 5 year warranty and also a timer which the old one was lacking.
